Frequently Asked Questions
What can FinHub do for me?
- The goal is to help financial innovations develop in alignment with sector regulations; improve financial inclusion; market efficiency, transparency, and competitiveness; customer protection; and financial stability.
What requirements do my project have to meet?
- The proposal must be relevant from a regulatory or supervisory standpoint.
- It must be a specific proposal (prototype, pilot launch, or scaling pilot). Not just an idea.
- The product, service, or business model must be innovative (new, different).
- The proposal must be clear and well structured. The request should include brief information about the business model, target audience, general implementation plans, or operational status.
Does my project need to be on a regulated subject?
- Not necessarily. If the matter is not regulated, you will benefit from recommendations or best practices, and we will gain insights into the market landscape.
Will my project receive an operative license or authorization?
- The Hub does not issue or serve as a preliminary step for licenses or authorizations. It is not an environment for product testing (such as a regulatory sandbox) and is not a business accelerator. That’s why you should only approach us if you have a well-developed business model.
Will my project be confidential?
- Yes. All information stays within the CCF and its member institutions. Any reports or publications will present data in consolidated format.
Will Finhub give me a legal opinion?
- While the Hub operates within the CCF, neither the Hub nor the CCF are entities in themselves and are therefore not authorized to offer binding opinions. If desired, the applicant may submit an administrative inquiry to the relevant authority.
